Main Stable Located Clarendon NSW 

Our Main stable is Located in Clarendon, northwest Sydney, Brad Widdup Racing is a boutique racehorse training facility committed to the highest standards of performance and animal welfare.

With direct access to Hawkesbury Race Club’s training tracks—including an all weather Polytrack—our facility is designed to help every horse thrive, both physically and mentally.

Our facilities include:

  • 70 state-of-the-art, recently refurbished boxes, each featuring automatic watering systems and strategically placed fans including 10 Newly built stables with optimum airflow and scenic views
  • 70m straight swimming pool for low-impact conditioning
  • Heartrate monitoring to track fitness and recovery
  • Equilume stable lighting system to support natural rhythms and recovery
  • Two high-speed treadmills for condition and purpose training 
  • Two 10-horse walkers for controlled exercise, conditioning and fitness 
  • Chilled saltwater treadmill for enhanced muscle development and rehabilitation
  • 8 Day yards for mental health and behavioural balance 
  • Grassed areas for hand-walking and afternoon grazing
  • Gated access and video surveillance to ensure the safety and security of every horse

In addition, horses receive specialised therapies as required, including:

  • PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy)
  • Ice treatments
  • Physiotherapy
  • Chiropractic care

Brad Widdup Racing is proud to announce the establishment of a premier spelling and rehabilitation facility located at the prestigious Fernleigh in Richmond Lowlands. This strategic move marks an exciting new chapter for the stable, allowing Brad to oversee and manage every stage of a racehorse’s career—from their time in training, through to spelling, recovery, and even life after racing.

With direct access to state-of-the-art equine facilities, this new setup includes:

  • Purpose-built spelling paddocks and day yards for rest and recovery
  • A cutting-edge water walker to support rehabilitation and conditioning
  • High Speed treadmill and Horse walker for athletic training and performance enhancement
  • Sand arena for strength building and minimal injury risk on joints and tendons
    Facilities for pre-training and re-education, helping horses transition smoothly between stages of their career
  • A supportive environment for retraining and rehoming post-racing, ensuring the long-term welfare of each horse

Brad’s hands-on approach and strong focus on individual horse care will now extend beyond the racetrack, providing continuity, consistency, and elite-level care throughout a horse’s entire journey.
